ACIOE Foundation is a Non-Profit Organization dedicated to supporting, caring for, and improving livelihoods through a structured platform to empower women and young people in Nigeria.
OUR STORY
ACIOE Foundation is a non-profit organisation established in 2018 to empower communities and strengthen human capital development across Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa. The Foundation implements integrated, evidence-driven programs that improve health outcomes, advance gender equality, expand educational and economic opportunities, promote climate resilience, and strengthen community systems.
ACIOE Foundation works across national and sub-national levels in collaboration with government institutions, civil society organisations, private sector actors, and development partners. Through research, policy engagement, advocacy, and community mobilisation, the Foundation designs and delivers sustainable interventions that improve access to essential services and support vulnerable populations to thrive.

Advocacy
Reached over 1000 individuals through social media advocacy
Mentorship
We drive mentorship because people are only as good as the tools they posess
Inclusion
The Foundation advocates for the inclusion of persons with disabilities
Abstracts
We submitted abstracts on financial inclusion & women’s economic empowerment in Nigeria to the Gender & Inclusion Summit.
Artisanship
We supported P&G’s 2022 female artisanship training launch & engagement with the National Centre for Women’s Development.
National Activities
We supported advocacy efforts to reinstate the FP budget line in the Ministry of Health’s annual budget.
Execution Plan
We helped develop a plan to strengthen local advocacy for family planning & maternal health in Nigeria.
Research
We conducted a study on family planning access for persons with disabilities, informing an abstract presented at NESG’s 1st Gender and Inclusion Summit.
Collaboration
In 2021, ACIOE Foundation supported the Palladium SCALE project to strengthen CSO advocacy and management across Nigeria.
Education
We educate nursing & expectant mothers on nutrition, breastfeeding & optimal infant feeding practices
Health Financing
ACIOE advocated for increased health financing in Nigeria, engaging key national and state decision-makers.
