CLIMATE CHANGE
We advances climate action by promoting climate awareness, resilience, and sustainable development within vulnerable communities. Through advocacy, partnerships, and community-driven initiatives, we support climate-smart solutions, empower women and youth as climate actors, and contribute to policies and practices that protect livelihoods and the environment.
Due to unequal societal factors, women are underrepresented in all levels of environmental decision-making. ACIOE Foundation’s team of experts advocates and implements intervention programmes to aid access to quality education, gender-responsive policy measures, and laws against gender discrimination to set a pathway to gender parity in climate leadership. To propagate this, the Foundation:
- Build resilience in the climate change space to unlock new opportunities for women
- Design/implement social impact programs
- Develop winning strategies, and optimize performance in digital, women’s economic empowerment, financial inclusion, and policy dialogues projects.
